The Girl Rider ® concept all started from a keen interest in sport – whether it was snow skiing, horse riding , or windsurfing ,but motorbikes became the real passion. From a personal experience I found it hard to find something that looked smart  as well as fashionable to wear whilst out riding or just simply hanging with friends ...

After realising the women's and girls market was being ignored we saw the opportunity to develop a range  of urban street wear just for the female motorcycling enthusiast. We did however want something different , that stood out ... instead of a chic just wearing men’s gear when riding a bike.

Girl Rider ® was registered as an Australian company and was also trademarked in 2001 but like all ideas, it took some time to get it off  the ground. We then went about getting the name out into the market place and launched our first range of clothing at the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo in 2006. Since then we have exhibited around the country at different events and advertised in national magazines.

Women have their own individuality and style, therefore our Girl Rider ® range was specifically designed with this in mind, as they still want to look like a women when riding.

Our range is design by women for women and girls.

Due to a fantastic response in regards to our casual range of urban street wear, it has now lead us to develop our own range of Girl Rider ® road riding apparel.
